Is there a program to set an away message or auto response for text messages?
Q. I'd love to be able to set an auto response away message for text messages, for when I am in class, or at work, or otherwise busy. Are there any programs or phones that have this option?

A. Never heard of such a thing. You are assumed to have your cell phone with you all the time, so cannot be "away". People sending text messages are usually content to wait until you read the texts and respond

How can I be able to see my buddies AOL AIM away messages from my IPhone?
Q. I just got my IPhone and I love it but I can't find a way to log onto the right site or do the right trick to see my buddies AOL AIM away messages. I know it doesn't have AIM built into it but I found a way on the net to chat on AIM yet I haven't found a way yet to see my buddies away messages. Does anyone know how to see your buddies AIM info by using your IPhone? Can't I use my web browser somehow to make it work? Hope someone can help. I'm stuck.

How do you send IM messages on AIM with you away message up?

Messenger stores your last 5 custom status entries so you can simply create as many as required to bump it off your list or you can download and use Andy's Clear/Edit Messenger status history utility. How do I see my aim messages when I get back from being away I cant find what people wrote?
Q. I have aim 6.1 and when I press I am away I am gone 2-3 hours when i get back it says like for example 5 ims recieved how do I check them to see what people said if I click on it it goes to my away message the only way I can check now is to click on all my buddies and see if they said anything.

A. I think when you go to bed, you should turn your computer off completely! You are saving energy and money. If someone wants to talk to you bad enough, they will call you. If they want to leave you a message, you will still get the message the next time you log on. I also suggest having your messages forwarded to your cell. Good night :o)

Why can't i use away messages on ichat?
Q. I'm on a new macbook pro and using the latest version of ichat. When signed in, and when i put up an away message, my buddies see that my status says away, but i am still available.
