GNU Free Documentation License Which NFL Team Has The Best Smack Talkers on Yahoo Answers? Q. So many people talk smack and most of it is so off the mark and poorly substantiated (thus making it smack), but some are at least more creative than others in this forum and actually back their stuff with some stats. So, which team has the most talented Y!A smack talkers? Asked by Jasone - Fri Jan 11 01:58:49 2008 - - 15 Answers - 0 Comments A. Pats fans are the johnny-come-latelys in the smack area. But no one will ever match those Raider fans from the Black Hole. That's the closest thing I've ever seen to being a true cult. Those people spend so much time on their costumes, silver paint and hating on others they probably couldn't even tell you who the starting tight end is for their team. You see tons of people walking around wearing the black and silver. Thing is, it's during a Raider game on TV. They dont even watch the game. But you say anything about the Raiders, it's smack city. For people outside of the units, it was probably a shock to see guys running around in US uniforms that looked Japanese. My grandfather was involved in the code talker program in WW2, and knew some of the more famous ones like Carl Gorman personally. The movie "Wind Talkers", while not 100% historically accurate, gives a bit of an idea of the situation. Q. How did the role of the Native Americans in the war, in particular the Navajo code talkers during the world wars but especially world s war two? Asked by brenda_lopez28 - Sat Apr 22 16:35:11 2006 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments A. To clarify the above discussion, efw is correct... the Navajo code talkers intentionally developed a special code inside of the Navajo language to disguise what items they were talking about. Only those trained as code talkers could fully understand it. Even other Navajos who heard it could not tell what was being said. This was done to prevent the Japanese from capturing Navajos who were non-code talkers and using them to translate (many Navajo served in the war, but only a relatively small number were trained as code talkers). The code talkers were used (mostly in the Pacific) to quickly send messages via radio. They were much quicker and more reliable than other means of sending coded messages. They also served as runners and… [cont.] Answered by sascoaz - Tue Apr 25 01:42:27 2006 From Yahoo Answer Search: "talkers" LIKE IT IS: Top coaches aren't necessarily top talkers - NWAOnline (subscription)
